Our background started with a group of individual members of (Mahibere Tsion Ethiopia) St. Mary the Second Jerusalem National Travel Association has been coordinating the members and benefactors of the church for more than 30 years in accordance with the service license given by the Archdiocese. In particular, during the annual celebration of Mary of the Mass in Geshen Debre Kerbe northern part of Ethiopia held in September, more than 300 pilgrims travel together to the holy place by organizing a spiritual journey. By providing temporary and permanent financial support, clothing, and sanitary materials for the people in need, and monastic clothing for monks and nuns.

Apart from this, the association has been building, renovating, and paying the monthly expenses of the teachers for the spiritual services. 

 

MTEOTC (Mahibere Tsion Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Charity)  is a sister non-profit organization founded in 2022 in North America. Our objective is to support our sister organization to provide relief help, preserve churches, restore devasted areas, and improve basic needs in Ethiopia. As we see the urgent to address challenges now facing the orthodox followers. Now is the time to overcome those challenges.

Therefore, we humbly request in the name of the Almighty God that the faithful who are in foreign countries, support our church together and to serve with the grace of God, become members of this charity organization that was opened in the name of the association, by contributing only $5 or more per month permanently or by participating in charity!
